A heartwarming thank you note from a client

Last week, we received an “almost impossible” mission from a client to translate a report from German to English. On top of that, we are to certify the translated report so that the client can submit it for approval by the regulatory authority. This has to be done before 2pm on the same day.

The client came to our office at almost 12 noon, which means we had to complete the translation from German to English, including certification of the translated document in less than 2 hours. The report is 1-page long, about 600 words and has to be formatted to look like the report in the source language.

It was a very stressful 2 hours for our Project Managers, Linguists and our Client. However, with the remarkable collaboration of our team, we managed to get the task accomplished just in time for our client to submit it for approval.

Today, we received a thank you note from our client, Claudia.

This is what it reads:

Hi Candice, 

I am sorry for not replying straight away but I have been travelling. Thank you for sending through the translation and again for all your help. I sincerely appreciated all the help that you gave me during that stressful time. Under such pressure, it is a testament to your skills and professionalism that you managed to do such a great job. With your help everything worked out in the end and that is all I asked for. 

I am very happy to have met you and would have no troubles recommending your services to anyone :-).

This thank you note really made our day. What’s important to us is that our client managed to get her application approved.

We are glad that we did not turn down the request to translate the document from German to English within such a short time frame.

It was just a small translation request, but then no job is too small for us.
